Ketamine Infusion Therapy For Chronic Pain Relief

Going through life living in a constant state of pain is mentally and physically exhausting. Nobody should have to live that way which is why we have researched and developed a treatment plan using microdoses of ketamine. This has proven highly effective on many tests often time giving patients instant pain relief with a long-lasting effect. We treat patients with a large variety of different pain issues.

Some of these conditions include but are not limited to:

  •  Migraines
  •  EDS
  •  Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  •  Fibromyalgia
  •  Diabetic Neuralgia
  •  Poststroke Pain
  •  Neck Or Spinal Injury
  •  Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Pain

Many of our current patients have experienced issues with treatment resistance from some more common treatments such as pills, injections, and pain patches. Using ketamine infusions, we have been able to provide these patients with some long overdue pain relief.

How Does Ketamine Treat Pain?

Low doses of Ketamine, when compared to general anesthesia, have proven to inhibit NDMA receptors which are responsible for central sensitization and can work in synergy with many other analgesics. There have been numerous scientific and clinical studies that support the use of IV infusions for treatment of an array of different types of chronic pain. Over the past few years, it has become extremely apparent that long-term opioid use does not lead to an improvement in function and abilities in every patient. Many case studies of chronic pain have reported that opioids can lead to increased pain in patients because of injuries or surgeries. This is often caused because of the modification it can cause on the pain character which can sometimes last years.
