Dr “Nick” Chris and their staff are wonderfully welcoming, professional and caring. The treatments have been effective for me for lifting the dark veil of depression, albeit for a week or so. Unfortunately, as the effect doesn’t last a course of several treatments is needed to extend the effect. The Dr can also prescribe nasal spray for home use to extend treatment life. It’s expensive and so far my health insurance won’t cover it. But if you can afford it and have major, treatment resistant depression, it is very worth the try.

The staff is wonderful. Treatment ($420 per infusion) is not expensive compared to other prices I’ve seen, although obviously the recommended 8-10 is not affordable for a lot of folks. It helped my wife a lot, although it seems her and most people do end up needed maintenance infusions or nasal sprays down the road. Nothing else helped her and although she often feels depressed she has the energy to do crafts and get out of the house, which is significant. Her outward demeanour is so much better. Treatment also helped a lot with her back pain.

I agree with the other reviewers, the environment and people here are awesome. Dealing with PTSD, anxiety and depression has always been difficult. The last few years have gotten considerably so. When I have reached out for assistance in the past, to other practitioners, it always came off as they viewed me as different than “normal”, or in some instances, “a head case”. But wouldn’t any one have difficulty dealing with the things some of us go through? It’s so far removed from some people, and it’s also not their expertise. Georgia Renew comes off as anything but. They seem to understand and sympathize with who you are as a person, and what you have gone through. They take their time and give you the attention and experience you need so you can heal. The shift of perspective moves away from the doctor and clinic to the patient and their needs. It has been refreshing to see that, to find trust, in a form that also seems somewhat rare in today’s society. I have the utmost care and respect for this clinic and the staff there, and I thank them for helping me on my own wellness journey.
